Our city Game starts in the S. Bento Train Station. In this activity, you will be asked to go inside the Train Station and complete 3 challenges which will help you find a way to deliver D. Pedros’ heart to its rightful place! 
Once you successfully complete the 3 tasks, you will unlock the S. Bento Explorer Badge!

S. Bento train station is not just a place of departure and arrival of passengers… It is also a true icon of art that is reflecting on its walls a little of the history and traditions of Portugal.  
﻿
Located in the heart of the city of Porto, in Praça Almeida Garret - next to Avenida dos Aliados, São Bento Station is considered one of the most beautiful railway stations in the world. It is best known for its beautiful tile panels, telling the stories of Porto and its people. 
﻿
D. Pedros’ heart could not rest in peace without firstly passing through one of the most important icons of the city. 
﻿
Challenge 1:
S. Bento Train Station has more than 11 years of work in its Tiles Panels by the author João Colaço.  
How many tiles can be found in the S. Bento Train Station?

Challenge 2:
D. João I and Filipa de Lencastre got married in the Sé of Porto, in one of the biggest events where people wore the best clothes and the city was covered in flowers! This wedding strengthened the alliance between Portugal and England, still strong nowadays.
Take a picture of the Tiles representing the Marriage of D. João I with Filipa de Lencastre.

Challenge 3:
After long and tumultuous times of War, one of the richest men of Porto, Egas Moniz, and tutor of the future King of “Portucale”, went to meet the King of Afonso VII to propose peace and safety to the people.

Put together the Tiles representation of the Introduction of Egas Moniz and his sons to the King Afonso VII of Leão and Castela.
